Now that things are ramping up again after the holidays, we've started shipping features again and it's time for another round-up.

API

• Shipped a Daydream WebRTC browser client and React SDK to simplify the main thing people have been struggling with (streaming video in / out): https://github.com/daydreamlive/daydream-browser
  • Proper documentation will follow shortly, but it's ready to try now!

• Sped up stream parameter updates by 2-3s in the worst case

Creator Pages

• Added new Share buttons on posts and made these trackable (i.e so if you post one to Reddit, we can tell people that click it came from Reddit despite them stripping UTM params)
• Handle vertical and very wide videos properly in the site (without cropping)
• Add a fullscreen button to the player
• Discover page inline pagination. The Discover page was getting very heavy as the post volume increased, so this was pretty urgently needed.
• Fixed a small issue that meant you couldn't open navbar links in new tabs
• Bumped priority of updated posts in the Discover feed
• Auto-generate a thumbnail when a video is added, meaning you no longer have to manually screenshot it
• Added "Has Files" toggle to Discover page, to more easily find workflow posts
