NDI support is officially available in Daydream Scope.

This means you can stream video directly from VirtualDJ over your local network and feed it straight into real-time AI models like Krea Real-Time or LongLive.

No bridge scripts. No duct tape.

Just native NDI input inside Scope, all local on a 24GB consumer GPU.

What You Need

  1. VirtualDJ
  2. The NDI SDK installed on your machine
  3. The send-ndi plugin for VirtualDJ https://virtualdj.com/plugins/index.html?addonid=81536

If you're running Scope on a second machine in your local network, make sure the NDI SDK is installed there as well.

How It Works

1. Enable NDI in VirtualDJ

  • Open VirtualDJ
  • Go to your video shader
  • Select the send-ndi plugin

You are now broadcasting your video output as an NDI stream over the local network.

2. Open Daydream Scope

Launch Scope:

  • On the same machine
  • Or on another machine in the same LAN

Under Video → Input Source, you will now see NDI available.

Select it.

Scope will automatically detect available NDI streams on your network. In my example, I’m pulling the NDI stream from VirtualDJ running on a separate MacBook.

3. Run AI Inference

Once the NDI feed is selected:

  • Choose your model (for example Krea Real-Time or LongLive)
  • Start inference

You now have a live DJ video feed driving real-time generative AI.
